I am the owner of this blog and would very much like to hear your thoughts. Please comment on some of my posts and I will deal with negative commenter's. If there are any negative comments I will very much ban the person from my blog. Definitions

Monolith - an obelisk, coloumn, large statue, ect., formed of a single block of stone. A block of stone of considerable size

Rune Stone - a stone bearing one or more runic inscriptions

Canon of Poetry - a collection of poetry written by a certain write. All the poetry one wrote. A complete work of poetry

Prose - the ordinary form of spoken or written language, without methodical structure, as distinguished from poetry or verse

Explication - a poetry explication is a short analysis, which describes the possible meaning and relationships of the words, images, ect.

Didactic - instructional poetry

Lamentation - a bible book

Bard - a reciter of poetry, a poet

Troubador - a wandering singer or minstrel, a medieval lyric or poet

Resonance - A deep and/or full voice

Free Verse - a form of poetry that refrains from consistent meter patterns, rhyme or any other musical pattern

Haiku - Japanese form of poetry, traditionally about nature, 1st line 5 syllables, 2nd line 7 syllables, 3rd line 5 syllables

Quatrain - 4 line poem, rhyme scheme

1234 - 1234 - 1234 - 1234
abab - abcb - abba - aabb

Shakespearean Sonnet - This type of poem has 14 lines. There are 3 quatrains and 1 couplet. (2 stanzas) Couplets rhyme ABAB or ABBA ,etc. Stanzas also rhyme. The first 12 lines are quatrains and the last 2 lines are stanzas. All lines are 10 syllables
